TDC: Image

This is reponse to DS106 Darily Create prompy: “Backlight it.”https://daily.ds106.us/tdc5155/

This day in Image Daily Create, I used the prompt: “Backlight It”. I took a picture right into the light. I took a bottle and a bright light behind it to effect a “back lighting”. This accentuated the form of the object and the contrast between the light and dark areas.

For this instance, image proved most effective, as light, shadow, and contrast help to convey more of a mood and focus than text. It also connect to The Cambridge Handbook of Multimedia Learning. I use the coherence principle in which I kept the image simple and aviod much details.

In this activity I became aware that “lighting” is one of most important factor that even a simple object can become more attracvtive and visually focused.
